Vacuum evaporators are plants used to treat industrial wastewater by separating pollutants from water. The process is done by bringing the solution to a boil at low temperatures (35-38°C) due to the vacuum, and condensing the vapors to obtain distilled water. This process makes it possible to recover up to 90 % of the wastewater, allowing the water to be reused in the production cycle, with characteristics similar to those of demineralized water.
